FreezePen® Advanced Skin Lesion Removal in St. Thomas, Ontario
Precision Cryotherapy for Safe, Cosmetic Removal of Benign Skin Lesions
FreezePen® is a medical-grade cryotherapy treatment offered at The St. Thomas Cosmetic Clinic, designed for the precise cosmetic removal of select benign skin lesions with minimal disruption to surrounding healthy skin. This advanced technology delivers controlled micro-freezing directly to the lesion, making it a refined and cosmetically focused alternative to traditional liquid nitrogen freezing.
Our approach is clinical, conservative, and results-driven, prioritizing safety, skin integrity, and optimal cosmetic outcomes.
▶ Watch: How FreezePen® Works
Why Choose FreezePen® Over Traditional Freezing?
Conventional cryotherapy often uses liquid nitrogen, which can freeze a wider area of skin and increase the risk of unnecessary tissue damage. FreezePen® uses targeted micro-freezing, allowing for greater control and accuracy.
Clinical advantages of FreezePen® include:
Precision treatment of the lesion only
Reduced impact to surrounding healthy tissue
Lower risk of scarring or post-inflammatory pigmentation when used appropriately
Improved cosmetic healing compared to conventional freezing methods
What Lesions Can Be Treated?
FreezePen® may be suitable for the cosmetic treatment of select benign lesions, including:
Skin tags (acrochordons)
Sun spots and age spots (solar lentigines)
Cherry angiomas
Seborrheic keratoses
Select raised, non-pigmented benign lesions
Clinical note: Pigmented moles (nevi) are not routinely or repeatedly treated with FreezePen®. Any lesion that is suspicious, changing, irregular, or does not respond to treatment may require referral to a physician or dermatologist for medical evaluation.
Consultation-Based, Safety-First Care
Every FreezePen® appointment begins with a professional consultation to assess the lesion and determine suitability for treatment. Lesion selection is critical - if a lesion is not appropriate for cosmetic cryotherapy, treatment will not proceed.
Your safety and long-term skin health always come first.
